At the University of Exact and Social Sciences, a meeting titled “Fighting Ignorance through Enlightenment!” was organized in cooperation with the Tashkent City Center for Spiritual and Educational Promotion.
The event was opened by E. Abdusattarov, Head of the Department for Youth Affairs, Spirituality, and Enlightenment. As a guest speaker, M. Khidirov, Director of the Tashkent City Center for Spiritual and Educational Promotion and recipient of the “Shuhrat” medal, delivered a lecture.
During the event, special attention was given to protecting young people from ideas that contradict societal values and preventing them from falling under the influence of various radical movements. The importance of ensuring youth information security and raising awareness about harmful content spread through the internet and social networks was also emphasized.
At the conclusion of the meeting, comprehensive answers were provided to students’ questions, and an exchange of views took place in the spirit of open dialogue.
